What have we been up to?
Today, we watched a power point presentation about where animals live. The students had a great time sharing their ideas about ways that animals are the same and ways that animals are different. They also created collages about where animals live. We practiced songs that will be featured in our end of the year show. Finally, as we close out the year, our class is on the lookout for acts of kindness that are demonstrated in and around the school community. The next time that you visit the school, please stop by and read acts of kindness recored on leaves on our Kindness Tree!

Our Trip to the Zoo
Roar! Last week we went on a trip to the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, M.D. Before visiting we predicted what animals we would find there. We were able to see animals of Africa, including elephants, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, rhinos, and more. We also were able to visit a section entitled, Maryland Wildlife. We had a great time and were able to find a lot of animals we predicted we might find there. What a wild adventure we had!
